Kedy ste naposledy prijali výzvu, pri ktorej vám bilo srdce a vedeli ste, že to je “ono”? Robiť to, čo považujeme za silné téma, je základ dobrého koktejlu aktivizmu. K tomu primiešame kvalitne postavené výstupy a na vrch čerešničkou je aktuálnosť danej témy. Čo tým myslíme? Hovoríme o projekte Let Me Tell You a Story: stavia most medzi témou modernej histórie so zverstvami komunismu, na ktoré sa nesmie zabudnúť, a medzigeneračným dialógom. Silným výstupom tohto projektu je skutočná kniha rozhovorov s českými politickými väzňami, ktorú celú spracovali účastníci z Poľska, Maďarska, Česka, Slovenska, Rumunska Litvy a Turecka. Postarali sa o prípravu interview, jeho vedenie s pamätníkom, prepisy rozhovorov a aj o design knihy. Pamätníkov sme spovedali v Ostrave v Centrum PANT, kde rozhovory prebehli a účastníci pracovali tak, ako sme to ešte inde nevideli. Podporu počas celého projektu poskytli Paměť národa a Post bellum. Sme nadšení a o to viac účastníci – pre mnohých to bol najlepší projekt v ich živote a zažili sme spolu mnoho: slzy, zapálené pracovanie na rozhovoroch do nočných hodín, vďaku aj dojatie. Bola to krásna cesta. Ale nekončí: knihu finišujeme, a až pôjde do tisku, budete o tom určite vedieť! Bude ZADARMO a… bude skvelá. Výmena mládeže sa konala 25.11.-5.12. v Adamove za podpory programu Erasmus+.

When was the last time you accepted a difficult, heart beating challenge knowing that this is “it”? The base of the good activism cocktail is to dedicate yourself in what you consider to be a strong topic. Lets add some quality outcomes and relevancy of the topic as a cherry on top of it. What do we mean by this? Project Let Me Tell You a Story is creating a bridge between the topic of modern history, intergenerational dialogue and the evenst of communist regime which cannot be forgotten. The strong outcome of this project is a real book of interviews with Czech political prisoners, all of which were handled by participants from Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Lithuania, and Turkey. They took care of the preparation of an interview, of managing the interview with the witness, transcripts of interviews, and book design. The memoirs were confessed in Ostrava at the PANT Center, where the interviews took place and the participants worked as we have not seen before! Support for the entire project was provided by the Memory of the Nation (@Paměť národa) and Post bellum. We are enthusiastic and participants even more – for many of them, it was the best project and we experienced a lot together: tears, working on the interviews during the night hours, gratitude and the joy. It was a beautiful journey. But it does not stop now: we will finish the book soon and when it will be printed, you will be informed, so stay tuned! It will be for FREE and … it will be great.
