On the 16th and 17th Karl, Sylvain and Helena and I were in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm to attend a project in the primary school Podskalka. We had to make some English conversation with 3 classes of 13/14 years old students. First, we introduced ourselves (we said our names, our ages and where we come from). Then we talked a little bit about our volunteering activities in Brno for You and about the Erasmus +, focusing especially in the Youth Exchanges: this is the perfect age for these students to start discovering the world and new cultures through the youth exchanges provided by the Erasmus + program. After this, we made an energizer in which every student had to introduce him or herself and ask us a question about anything: they were curious especially about our hobbies, what our favourite TV shows are, what do we think about Czech people, what Czech words have we learned so far. Then we presented our countries: the presentations were interactive, we were asking some questions to the students about the history, geography, food and culture of our countries. The children had fun and they had the opportunity to practice their English with us. We are looking forward to go back to Rožnov to meet those guys again!
